Vemetric

Vemetric is growing steadily again and it motivates me a lot to push it further and turn it into an established player in this analytics market

The summer was kinda unproductive for me regarding building my products, I think I also needed a break and enjoyed the time with family and friends

it feels great to get back into a shipping habit ❤️

I'm currently spending a lot of time and effort on DevOps topics for Vemetric

on one side because it was necessary (e.g. memory leak, bloated docker images, ..), but also because I soon want to offer a proper self-hosted version for Vemetric, which should build upon a clean base

feels good to spend time on these topics, but also a bit sad to have less time for the product itself

today I had my first ever onboarding call with a new Vemetric customer (he subscribed immediately without trying the product 😅)

he's doesn't have a technical background, so he needed some help with the integration, and I've explained the basics to him

very happy with the outcome and that my software is able to help others in a way that they're happily paying for it :)

I think March was the slowest month so far for Vemetric. It was the second month of my parental leave, and I allowed myself to take some time off, which felt good, and I also needed it.

Despite that, I'm proud that I was able to release the Vemetric Public API, which opens up many opportunities!

I also decided to continue with a CLI and MCP, because it makes sense while I'm still in the topic (they're building upon the API), and they will help with agentic use of Vemetric.

Sadly, it was also the first month with declining MRR - I know it's part of the business, but Churn always hurts :(

I try to stay positive and keep pushing and improving on Vemetric - I hope better months will follow! 💪

I just updated it to only count projects that sent at least one event in the past 30 days, and it's still at 89 🥳

Just received the third Payout for Vemetric via Paddle 🤩

Means Vemetric has a total Revenue of 476,80€ so far .. not bad 💪
