A surprisingly helpful time-blocking tool with task auto-advance.

---> „This is fascinating, and I am enjoying playing around with it. My very first thought was that it would be stressful to see the relentless hand of time, but I can absolutely see how it would lead rather swiftly to some sensible (and de-stressing) decisions about what to do with the time remaining.“ –– Oliver Burkeman, author of the bestseller „The Four Thousands Weeks” <--- 🌀 Nautilus is an innovative, easy-to-use, time-blocking tool that helps you plan your day. Your tasks and events are displayed in a spiral, reminiscent of a watch face, providing the most telling representation of time during the day. 🚀 The most unique feature of Nautilus is the red hand of time, which pushes unfinished tasks. Thanks to it, you'll see which tasks you'll get done today and how to rearrange your schedule to get at least the most important ones done. 🪷 You may be thinking that automatic task shifting is stressful. Isn't it better to leave tasks on the calendar as fixed blocks and shift them occasionally? It's just the opposite! Nautilus (at least for me and the users who give me enthusiastic feedback) reduces stress. How it works? 🪴 This project started as a prototype in the Roam Research app to address my inability to plan my day. The evening frustration of never finishing what I thought I would in the morning was also unbearable. But very quickly, it became apparent that automatic task shifting had enormous potential. When we are sensitively reminded that we won't finish anything in the past and that tasks have a duration, we perceive time more realistically. And this has a massive impact on our ability to prioritize. Try the app, it's very simple. If you have any doubts, you can ask Dr. Nautilus, the bot, who is very good with the app. :)
