Hi! This is Matt, creator of Chattero.

I'm a big believer in a conversational way of learning a new language. It's tough, but when learning English, Italian and German I made the most progress by the iterative loop of talking, correcting my mistakes, learning what I lack and talking again.

A while ago, after coming back from yet another trip to Italy, I've decided to find a speaking partner to practice my Italian, but it proved to be very challenging. Lessons with native speakers are expensive, language learning Discord channels or Reddit just lacked the consistency I needed and in-person speaking clubs were non-existent.

So..I've created my language practice partners myself and now I want to share them with all of you!
